[ Academic Institutions ]

Institutional access for universities and research centres.

SomaNav offers custom institutional licensing for university departments, research institutes, and grant-funded programmes. A single institutional licence can cover an entire research group or department, with centralised billing and seat management.

University Labs

Postdoctoral researchers and PhD groups running focused discovery programmes. Custom per-seat pricing for departments.

Research Institutes

Dedicated research centres and institutes with multi-disciplinary teams. Includes shared Soma Knowledge Graph across the institute.

Grant-Funded Programmes

Flexible billing aligned to grant cycles. We work with research administrators to structure agreements that fit funding timelines.

Teaching & Training

Introductory access for graduate courses in computational biology, drug discovery, and bioinformatics. Contact us for educational pricing.

[ Who it's for ]

Built for researchers who cannot afford to wait.

Biotech Startups

Early-stage companies running drug repurposing programmes who need research velocity without a full in-house science team.

Academic Researchers

Postdocs, longevity clinicians, and independent scientists who need a system that compounds their research rather than replacing it.

Contract Research Organisations

CROs running hypothesis generation and target identification for multiple clients simultaneously, needing isolated, auditable research trails.

Pharma & FMCG R&D

Mid-market pharma and nutraceutical teams exploring secondary indications or building systematic evidence packages for pipeline assets.

[ Common Questions ]
How is SomaNav different from Elicit or Consensus?

Elicit and Consensus are literature search and summarisation tools — they retrieve and organise what already exists. SomaNav generates new hypotheses, critiques them, and improves across iterations. It does not search the literature; it reasons with it.

What is the Soma Knowledge Graph?

The Soma is a persistent knowledge graph that accumulates findings across every research session. Unlike a standard AI chat session, the Soma never resets — it grows. Each iteration adds new nodes, relationships, and confidence scores. Over time, it becomes a structured map of everything SomaNav has learned across all your research programmes.

Can I run my own research topic?

Yes. You can run any biomedical or scientific research topic. The existing sessions (GLP-1, PCSK9, longevity) are SomaNav's own internal research programmes. Your sessions are private and isolated to your account.

How long does an iteration take?

A full iteration — Plan, Execute, Critique, Reflect, Evolve — typically takes 3–8 minutes depending on the complexity of the research domain and the number of literature sources queried.

Is my research data private?

Yes. Your sessions, Soma graph, and research outputs are private to your account by default. Enterprise customers receive a fully isolated Soma instance with no cross-account data sharing.

Do you offer academic discounts?

The Academic tier is specifically designed for university labs and grant-funded researchers at £149/month. For institutional licensing covering an entire department or university, contact us directly — we offer custom pricing for academic institutions.
